Layered Bread

As I mentioned in my previous entry, I’ve prepared layered bread (or roti pizza, or whatever you people might call it) during the ‘break fast get-together’ at Epein’s. So this is how the bread looks like (this is not the one that I brought for buragas, I prepared this for my labmates on June or July this year, if I’m not mistaken).

 

And for any of you that is interested in making the dish, below is the recipe…Selamat mencuba!!!hehe… (recipe dalam bahasa melayu ye…seksa kalau nak pikir term2 masakan in English…saya budak baru belajar…hehe..)

 

Layered Bread (Roti Pizza)

 

Bahan-bahan:

1 buku                    roti (jumbo size)

400-500 g              daging kisar/ daging burger (7-8 keping)

10                            frankfurters 

3 biji                        bawang besar (dipotong dadu)           

1-2 biji                    capsicum  (dipotong dadu)

1 tin                        button mushroom (dipotong dadu)

3 sudu besar        rempah sup

5-8 biji                    telur (dipukul)

Sayur-sayuran (tomato, carrot, etc.)

Garam

Cheese

Black pepper (optional)

Oregano (optional)

 

Cara-cara:

 

Untuk masak topping or filling ( so contradictive kan…topping ke filling..hehe..), tumis bawang hingga naik bau. Masukkan daging. Kacau hingga separuh masak. Campurkan rempah sup dengan sedikit air dan tuang ke dalam kuali. Masukkan frankfurters yg telah dihiris nipis2. Masukkan garam, oregano dan black pepper. Kacau sebati. Masukkan capsicum, mushroom dan sayur-sayuran. Kacau sehingga semua bahan masak.

 

Potong kulit roti. Dalam dulang pembakar, susun roti sehingga penuh dulang. Letakkan topping dan tuang telur ke atas topping (jangan byk sgt-just nk bagi topping melekat). Taburkan cheese. Susun selapis lagi roti dan lakukan seperti tadi tapi jangan letak cheese lagi.

 

Bakar dlm oven pada suhu 170-180o Celsius selama lebih kurang 20-30 minit atau sehingga telur masak (nampak kuning2 atas roti), kemudian taburkan cheese dan oregano. Bakar sekali lagi (dalam 5-10 minit) sehingga cheese cair dan kelihatan terliur untuk di makan..hehe…

  1. i already try this recipe..mmg sgt mudah..tak sampai sejam dah siap utk dimakan..tp hati2 ya semasa membakar..make sure u know ur oven very well or otherwise roti akan terbakar..hahaha
